Asteron works with advisers, service providers and networks around European healthtech. We prepare and support clients through information security, medical-software lifecycle, privacy, AI governance and national market obligations. Independent certification decisions stay with accredited bodies.
Who we partner with
Partnerships fall into five groups. The first four can participate in the referral programme. The fifth - certification bodies and auditors - is reserved for standard, non-commercial process coordination only.
Medical-device and regulatory consultancies
You lead MDR, IVDR, clinical evaluation and quality-management work. Asteron adds information security, health-data governance, IEC 81001-5-1 and software-lifecycle evidence around your programme, without touching your regulatory relationship.
Privacy and legal advisers
You advise on GDPR, DPAs, data-processing structures and regulatory strategy. Asteron implements the operational side - ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR Article 9 controls and evidence - that your clients need alongside your legal deliverables.
Security and technology providers
You provide infrastructure, engineering or specialised security tooling. Asteron builds the compliance management systems on top of what you deliver, mapping controls to real production controls rather than parallel paper programmes.
Accelerators, investors and healthtech networks
Portfolio companies increasingly need compliance evidence to close enterprise deals and enter regulated markets. Asteron gives them a defined route through ISO 27001, NEN 7510, DiGA, EU AI Act and MDR-adjacent obligations without slowing product work.
Certification bodies and auditors
Asteron prepares clients for independent assessment and coordinates the process on their side. Certification bodies and auditors are not part of the paid referral programme: audits, findings and certification decisions must remain independent of us.
How the referral programme works
Introduce
Send a short note to partners@asteron.net or have the company mention your name when they book an intake. No forms or partner tiers.
We prepare the client
Asteron scopes the engagement, agrees a fixed-price plan and delivers the preparation, evidence and management-system work. Independent certification and audit outcomes remain with accredited bodies.
Referral fee (non-audit partners only)
Eligible non-audit partners receive a referral fee on successful engagements. Exact terms are agreed individually and are always disclosed to the referred client.
Conflict-of-interest and disclosure rules
- Referral fees apply only to non-audit partners such as medical-device and regulatory consultancies, privacy and legal advisers, security and technology providers, and healthtech networks.
- Certification bodies and auditors are excluded from the paid referral programme. Any process coordination is limited to standard scheduling and preparation.
- Where a referral fee applies, its existence and general nature are disclosed to the referred client before contracting.
- Asteron does not offer, and does not imply, preferential audit access, easier findings or influence over certification decisions.
